What is Your Why?

Simon Sinek; a New York Times, Wall Street Journal Writer and author can now add the word GENIUS to his resume, at least in my book. I recently watched his Ted Talk on the power of why in business, and could not help, but find a correlation to basically every aspect of my life. The point of the speech was to share what you believe with the masses instead of simply what you do, business-wise. Sinek shared that Apple was, and still is very good at this. Their concept of creating brilliant, beautiful, simplistic technology for everyone was the driving force in creating the pieces of technology like the iPhone that many of us, at this very moment, feel they can't live without. And it all started from an belief that grew into a concept, that evolved into a tangible gift to millions. Okay, so what does this mean to you? How can this word, WHY become so important to you? Here's better question, why SHOULD it be? My take on the reasoning for the question "why" is this. "Why" runs our lives weather you want to believe it or not. "Why" subconsciously directs your actions down to why you want coffee the first thing in the morning or why you would rather grab a green smoothie (for me it's both). Why do we suffer for Christ's sake? For our reward in glory. This isn't an extremely deep concept that I want to you dissect, I just simply want to ask you to find your "why" the motives behind what you do on the daily and prepare to be surprised with the answers your reveal to yourself concerning the minute things like your everyday routine. You may be finding yourself making some changes based of off who you aspire to be. Be Encouraged. #KeepMakingGodAHappyDaddy
